Restore arts funding in B.C.
What can you get for a buck? About $1.36
Other provinces have increased their investment in the arts since the recession. Why? Because that investment yields dividends as well as art. Money in the bank.
The BC government's own research says that for ever $1 invested in culture, the payback is about $1.36. So why are the Liberals saying they cut their investment in the arts by some 90% in the upcoming budget?
